ABOUT

My name is Ania Gruszczyńska, and I'm a documentary filmmaker originally from Warsaw, Poland, currently based in London, UK . I refined my skills in filmmaking in New York, during my Master's at Columbia's Graduate School of Journalism. My focus lies in telling stories about religion, women, culture, and mental health.

Beyond filmmaking, I'm fuelled by a passion for songwriting and illustration. It was these very interests that led me to Sparni, my debut film project which I co-produced and co-directed, but also animated. I am fluent in both Polish and English.
